Yole Tanghe


Yole Tanghe (Master and Bachelor of Laws, Ghent U. and Bachelor of Arts in Oriental Languages and Cultures, Ghent U.) joined the Institute for European Law as a doctoral researcher and teaching assistant in September 2012. Her doctoral research explores the scope of the EU’s external competence in the field of intellectual property law and the balance struck between copyright obligations and other human rights obligations in the EU’s current trade agreements (eg. CETA and TTIP).

Areas of interest

Her interests include EU institutional law, EU external relations law, international trade law, intellectual property law and human rights law.
