Anne Neumann

 

Anne Neumann is Professor for Economic Policy at the University of Potsdam and Research Affiliate at the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW Berlin). In her PhD thesis (obtained from Dresden University of Technology) she focused on international markets for natural gas, in particular contract and pricing mechanisms. During her postdoctoral position she published on energy economics and resource markets and spent three months at EPRG (University of Cambridge). Anne has been involved in several EU funded and other policy consulting projects. She was also involved in the benchmarking of natural gas transmission and distribution companies for the German regulator for the introduction of the incentive regulation at the beginning of 2009.
