Tom Schoors

Tom Schoors is a Partner in the Litigation & Contracts Practice Group of the Antwerp office of Allen & Overy LLP () and Member of the Antwerp Bar. He received his law degree from the universities of Namur and Leuven (K.U.Leuven), an LL.M in European Law from the University of Saarbrücken (Europa-Institut), Germany, and postgraduates in energy law and corporate finance from the University of Leuven (K.U.Leuven). He specialises in energy law, including energy projects, energy regulations, energy contracts and energy related litigation. He lectures and publishes in Belgium and abroad, on electricity and gas trading topics, with particular focus on the Belgian market. He is the co-author of the Belgian chapters in Allen & Overy's book Changes to European Electricity and Gas Markets.
