Patricia Park

Professor Park is Head of the Law Research Centre at Southampton Institute and has written extensively in the areas of both energy and environmental law.

She has written papers for the UK House of Commons Environment Committee and the Environmental Audit Committee, in addition to the UK Department of the Environment, Transport and The Regions and the Directorate for Financial, Fiscal and Enterprise Affairs.

She has also carried out work for the Advisory Board to the UK Court of Appeal and the Wessex Magistrate’s Association on the Sentencing of Environmental Crime. She was appointed as an original member of the Regional Environmental Pollution Advisory Committee to the newly formed Environment Agency in 1996.

She is a member of the Commission on Environmental Law of the IUCN and a member of the Institute of Petroleum.
