The Workshop is highly practice-oriented with focus on international arbitration and intends to provide the participants with specific guidance with respect to the conduct of the proceedings covering the following topics:

  1. Negotiating and drafting arbitration agreements.
  2. Formulating claims and preparing the request for arbitration (including choice of remedies).
  3. The pre-hearing conference.
  4. Preparing for the submission of arguments and motions.
  5. Managing Evidence: document production.
  6. Managing Evidence: witnesses and experts.
  7. The interaction between court and arbitral tribunal.

Each block will have a similar structure: a short presentation of the issue at stake by the instructors (1), case-based exercises involving all participants (2) and an in-depth discussion moderated by the instructors (3).
