The Institute for European Law, together with its colleagues from the Institute for International Law, the Institute for International Trade Law, the Institute for Tax Law and the Institute for Human Rights, offers students a chance to participate in an international moot court competition. - European Law Moot Court Competition 2008-2009 (finalist regional round, best Commission Representative, All European Final)

Furthermore, the Institute for European Law cooperates with the Institute for European and Economic law in order to offer some students a chance of participating in a intra-faculty moot court named after former ECJ president Mertens de Wilmars, in the field of European Competition Law.
Finally, in the framework of the Judicial Protection in the EU course, an annual moot court is organised for interested students.
