Clinics on EU Law 2011-2012
The K.U.Leuven offers its LL.M. students a series of legal clinics that are only open to LL.M. students and a limited number of professionals (mainly solicitors, European Commission officials and scholars).(Brochure - pdf)
These clinics, organised in the centre of Brussels, and in collaboration with HUB, offer LL.M. students a platform to discuss contemporary issues in small groups and meet experts in their specialisation. It may also be an opportunity to establish a network with prominent practitioners.
Distinguished legal and business practitioners, representatives of the authorities and academia have accepted the invitation to lead the clinics as guest lecturers. In the academic year 2011-2012, guest speakers included a number of directors and heads of unit of the European Commission, various partners at international law firms and professors from other various European universities.
Each of the students takes the clinics of his areas of specialisation. Students may also take clinics of the other options, should they want to take advantage of specific lectures in those clinics. However for clinics outside your options, you will not receive credits.
